Prenatal appt and sugar overdose time

I have an appt today with my ob/gyn at 15 wk 4 days and also will be doing the glucose test.  Blech.  They want me to do it early because I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes my last pregnancy.  I hope everything is going ok because I still haven't gained anything and my clothes still all fit. I really don't want to flunk the glucose test, especially this early into the pregnancy.  That would mean pricking my finger 4 times a day again (and maybe worse) at least last time I didn't have to do it for quite as long.  Well, wish me luck!

Thanks!  Well, I didn't get to see the dr because she was delivering a baby so had to reschedule with physician's asst later this week, but they still did the glucose test.  Right before they did it, I went into the bathroom and checked with my own glucose meter.  Crap, 156.  I think the cutoff is 140; it wasn't looking good.  Started fidgeting as much as possible; was hoping they would be a little late getting me in so it would go down; but they were right on time.  They called later with the results and I actually passed!  They said 130.  So happy about that.  I wonder if they will check again later in the pregnancy.  Good to you to both of you!  Especially the 3 hr test which isn't any fun.
