tea is it safe

Is it safe to drink green tea. Are there teas that are not good for the baby.

I recommend pregnancy teas u can buy them at health food stores also I drink only those or peppermint tea....think moderation and stay away from caffeine as it can stunt babys growth

You need to limit green tea, especially in the first trimester. Green tea inhibits your body's absorption of folic acid.

Green tea is fine. Most of them are caffeine free. Just be careful with herbal teas. Some of them can induce labor.

It's caffeine that's to be limited. 200mg a day. There is caffeine in green tea. For 8oz there's 24-45mg in it. It's scary how much hidden caffeine there is in drinks!!!! Very frustrating!!
