I think it's probably hormones. I remember experiencing that in early pregnancy. I'm actually having it again at the end of pregnancy but it's a combo of peeing constantly, baby kicking my butt and general uncomfortableness.
Not to scare you, but I had insomnia with all three of my pregnancies, and my children are fine and all grown up. I was eventually given meds to help me, because I was pregnant, and working until my delivery day. You'll be ok. Drink warm milk.
it is actually very common to have sleepless nights, nothing is wrong
I'am exactly the same, I am 7 weeks pregnant and always tired. I manage to go off to sleep but once 2.30 hits and I need a wee going back to sleep is impossible! My mind starts wondering and then I feel a bit sick! When will this stop?!
i am 11 weeks today and every since i found out i was preganant i have not had a good nights sleep. I pee all night (like every 30 min to an hour) and i am up and down i can't get comfortable because my lower side on the left hurts alot so i have to lay on my right then after a while that starts to hurt so then i switch to my back and needless to say thats not comfortable. The doct says the pain is just my legiments stretching its nothing to worry about and the peeing is my uterus expanding pushing against my bladder. Dont worry its all normal in the end it will all be worth it.
