In Texas the law states that insurance Co's must offer ivf coverage but employers do not have to accept it. So, most jobs that offer insurance do not cover ivf. I work on a state job in TX and have no infertility coverage at all.
I am sorry you are going through this...
Do you have a Bank America, Chase Bank or Vanguard in texas. I am pretty sure they offer infertility benefits.
Thank you Nina I will look at website up. Thanks for the info.
Hi gokuangel how do I find out more information about ivf in mexico. $4000 is a lot cheaper than $12,000 for the procedure here in Texas.
Our state is mandated but MOST insurance still does not cover anything "artificial"! I used to have very good insurance with Cingular (aka AT&T) and they said they covered everything test wise and RX wise but NO artificial NOTHING!! I'm not saying theres none just saying how my old insurance was!
I was just reading and trying to find insurance companies that offer this. Texas has a law that work places that have a certain amount of employees (state mandated) to offer employees insurance go to this web sight and read a little more. I live in fla so its not mandated here. Hope this helps.
