Update on Pertykitty/Macy

I am hoping to provide a place to give updates for Pertykitty and Macy's progress throughout the day. If you know anyone else following her, please direct them here for updates.

Macy went in this morning and is currently in Pre-Op getting her lines in and getting prepped. They expect her to be in there for an hour or two before taking her to the OR.

Dana is holding up, she lost is of course when they took her back, but she has Addy there as well as her family to support her.

I know she appreciates everyone's thoughts and concern. Please keep them all in your prayers.

I will continue to update through this thread.

im so very glad for these updates...  I pray it is Gods will to keep them a happy beautiful familyand that Dana gets some rest and peace in her heart..Thanks again for keeping in touch!!

I just checked in now...I have been on a plane all day, but kept sending positive thoughts her way.  I am so glad to hear all is/has been going well, and so appreciate the updates.  Please tell Dana we love her, and to give sweet Macy a little extra hug and kiss!

Dana got to see Macy for a second, in about an hour they will get to sit with her. She will be in the vent until at least tomorrow. They will spend the next 24 hours playing the "wait and see" game. She is ever-so-thankful for all of your loving support, as is Macy :-)

Just got word, Macy is on bypass and they are starting the repairs. So far, all is going as planned and she is doing well. Dana is holding up well and she is very thankful for your continued thoughts and prayers.

Just got an update. Macy is in the OR, they have begun the surgery. They will call Dana with an update in a couple hours. As soon as she hears, she will let me know, and I will post here.
