I had to get a script from my doc as well but I also use the gum made by Sea Bands for nausea & motion sickness. Kinda expensive but works pretty good!
Sucking on limes helped me a bit. Unfortunately there's no real cure.
Ginger snaps, ginger ale.. Ginger is a spice that does good with nausea. Also, Walgreen has a thing called quezzy. Its great with it!!
Keep crackers and a small apple juice next to the bed. Munch on one or two and sip the juice before your feet hit the floor. It won't completely cure it, but it will help. If its really bad, talk to your doctor.
You have to find what works for you. Everyone is different. Try gingerale. I had to get a prescription from my Dr. It helped take the edge off.
