CB Easy Fertility Monitor vs. CB Easy Ov sticks

I have used the montor with success - conceived daughter first cycle and this last pregnancy after two.  But...then I gave it back to my friend thinking we were done and she has since sold it.

So...I've found deals on them on different websites.  should I plunk down the cash for one or does anyone swear by the Clear Blue sticks?  I have the inexpensive sticks that i bought online, but with this cycle, I'm not even sure if I ovulated.

too funny - yes, those monitors are like gold!  I know my friend feels horrible that she sold it, but of course it's not her fault and we thought everything was fine.  I ordered the digital sticks and now the waiting starts.  i don't think i ovulated at all this past month so now I need to start prometrium all over again and then clomid.  been there, done that...several times over!

I never tried the digital tests but I loved my monitor (Clear Blue monitor) - got pregnant several times (1 baby) with it but never got pregnant with different brands of sticks. I don't plan on having more children for now (1 baby is already crazy enough) but I'll never lend my monitor just in case I change my mind one day.

Thank you for your response...and I am sold!  From what it looks like online, the digital tests are basically as good as the monitor.  I guess the benefit of the monitor is that it also tells you your high days and not just the eggie days.

Anyways, I found them online for a great price, free shipping and I'm hoping for some luck maybe next cycle!

Hi there!

I have never used the fertility monitor, but I know many ladies here who have.  I do use the ClearBlue digital opk's and love them!  I do swear by them and have conceived several times using them.  I am now ttc again, and did consider the monitor, but decided to stick with what has worked for me.  

Good luck with whatever you decide to do and I hope we are reading about your positive pregnancy test soon!!

btw...I absolutely hate those sticks that just show the line getting darker and you have to try to decipher whether or not you ovulated.  Drove me crazy..cheaper, yes, but I still went back to my ClearBlue Digital...I love that happy face when it's positive.
