Did anyone take temps during the day?

Hi - I am not sure whether it's okay to post over here or not, so just let me know!  I am usually on the fertility site but realized that my question is really for women who have already found out they are pregnant....

When charting BBT, did anyone take additional readings during the day, just for the heck of it? And if so, did it ever drop below the coverline?  I am wondering if there is any chance of me being pregnant this month since my temps have fallen below the coverline during the day??? I would think that if I was preggers, my body temp would stay up....

any thoughts from those who have been there??

Thanks :)

Thanks :)

I have a chart on FF and I chart every morning, but I was just wondering about temps throughout the day - I guess I would just think that my body temp wouldn't go below the coverline at any point, if I was pregnant!

Congrats on your pregnancies :)

Hey there!  Taking your temps during the day is not going to tell you anything about your impending pregnancy...sorry!  The only accurate reading is first thing in the morning before you begin ANY activity and try to take it around the same time of day.  I charted for almost a year and really enjoyed it.  Have you looked at fertilityfriend.com?  It's a GREAT site that deals esp. w/ charting.  I'm 23W today and still find myself looking for my thermometer in the morning...hehe.  Best of luck!

I did chart my temps while ttc..but I did that for several months and 1 day, I decided, enough!!  Everyone was telling me, when you stop worrying/thinking about it, it'll happen. This used to **** me off you can't even imagine!!  Well, the month after I stopped all charting, I got my bfp. 8 months of trying and BAM! I'm now 30weeks pregnant with a lil boy!  So, that's my advice to you.  :)  Oh, also, I used Preseed..on the 2nd cycle, I was pregnant.  I would tell you to use that as well.

As for temping, I only did it when I woke up. So I can't really tell you about it dropping during the day..
