Thanks for posting, as I was wondering the same thing. I did read some articles and have beeg doing some research as to see if there is a difference but it all appears inconclusive. I would ask the acupuncturist what is the difference, what exactly is the different method he is using. My husband and I are ttc again (we just lost our son) and have been thinking ab acupuncture just as an overall health thing. Do some research first, I'm sure you guys will have your baby before you know it : )
Thanks, Sue. That's very helpful. There remains the problem that it isn't easy to judge which clinic is better. They have some crazy statistics about their fertility rates, including better ones for patients aged 41-45 than 36-40!
There are doctors who know more about fertility - just do some research on them / the clinic if you can. She is going to an acupuncturist anyway so why not switch to someone else who might have more knowledge ? The thing is, it gives your wife some hope - and she's doing all she can to get pregnant. Hope is very powerful as it can make her feel less stressed - and stress can hinder her baby chances.
Good luck to you both !
