Hi I'm 40 weeks N 2 days an I was wondering what other women did to go into labor this is child #4 for me but nothing seems to be working. I'm dilated to 3 an all I do is walk.. I need some help

Have your membranes stripped, have sex and enjoy as much time to yourself as possible while you wait. Have a joyous delivery.

My 1st I was 6 days late (15yrs ago) and my 2nd (12yrs ago) was 15 days late. I was miserable. I didn't even dialate until week 41...I hope this lil guy comes sooner than his sisters LOL...good luck!!!

Wish I knw. Im also 40+2 my babys head still isnt engaged, , both midwives I have seen about aches and pains have been useless, this is my second  and so much more scary then my first. .Goodluck ladies were in it together!

I know your pain.. I was 40+4 days  with my 4th before I went into labor, I had an appt that day and had my Dr sweep me again. I was already 4.5-5 cm so she swept me and said she didn't think it would be that much longer I went to hospital that afternoon and had her a few minutes later. I had sex and also went for a short fast paced walk the night before. Baby will come... Unfortunately when he/she is ready.
