Your question doesn't give a lot of information. Have you been trying to get pregnant on your own for some time, only to have this high FSH as the initial finding? I had an FSH of 17.6 and an AMH of 0.2 and was told I had less than a 1% chance of having a biological child even with IVF and aggressive meds. I was giving the donor egg speech. (By the way, I'm not against donor egg but HATE when people so quickly throw that out there knowing NOTHING about the person asking the questions. Trust me, with high FSH she's probably heard all about it from the doctor. It's VERY crushing for someone with a dream of having a biological child.). Anyway, I was pregnant naturally less than a month after that crushing news. Now my story may be a little unique in that I am single and hadn't really been trying to conceive before seeing the RE. In hind sight, I could have gotten pregnant and never known about the dreaded high FSH and darn near undectible AMH. That tells me that there's much more to all of this than FSH and AMH. (Oh, I'm 38 and was also told my ovaries are small!). So, the short answer to your question is YES, it is possible for you to become a mom with high FSH. Do not be discouraged. There are a lot of high FSH success stories out there. Start googling :o)
14 weeks today and counting...
Hi, however, the ideal numbers are < 10. If you cann explore the option of donor eggs too?
There is still a chance, but it is not very high.
Best wishes
i'm sorry to hear that and yes it is vdeyr high...but there are medical ways that they can reduce the fsh level..you can need to find agood doc. who is willing to work with you..
some doc. will tell u that no chance at all...do not listen to them...there are women out there who got pregnant with fsh 20..
find a good doc. and keep working on it....you can be a mom if u work on in
good luck
I'm not sure what the chances are, because I'm no doctor. But have you considered donor eggs/IVF? I know several people who have had great success with that!
