cervical checks?!

Does anyone else feel weird when they getting checked I hate it It's so uncomfortable.

Mine didnt start until 38 weeks, she said they usually dont start until 39. I just turned 40 weeks today. It is uncomfortable, I didnt think it would be. Its like a pelvic exam but they have to get their fingers way back there depending on the length of your vaginal canal. Not pleasant lol

I got my appointment to be induced at 39 weeks on nov 7 but i read people they start dilating at 36 weeks that is why i was so curios to know if i had made any progress i am 37 weeks and 5 days so i guess my first cervix check will be when they start induction lol

When i went for my first prenatal visit they did a cervix check. Now im 23 weeks and they haven't done another one.

@azulita, I wouldn't be bummed about that..  There is no reason to check the cervix cuz it's not like it will make delivery happen sooner.  All it does is make u feel uncomfortable..

I am 37 weeks and 5 days and dr has never check my cervix :-(

It does feel uncomfortable or weird to me. I just had my 3rd one yesterday, its getting easier. Im thinking get used to it now, because when delivery comes they will be up there quite a bit more lol
