By the way, I would like to say that I am happy for you that you finally got pregnant Shishka. Good Luck with everything.
Mary here again, only now with another concern. Last year I have had two miscarriages. Now, in the past month I have had really bad nausea. I went to the doctor , not being sure if it's this darn h-pylori causing it or if I'm actually pregnant. Since my last period this month I have had continous abnormal very light spotting and now just tonight I noticed that the spotting is mixed with a clear fluid. This happened to me last year ( with a big "gush" of fluid mixed with blood )only to realize that I just had a miscarriage. Does anybody out there have any idea as to what else could be causing this abnormal spotting/leaking? Am I headed for another miscarriage?I went for all sorts of blood tests and now I am waiting for the results, (including pregnancy test) which I will be getting next week. Has anyone else out there experienced this ?Once again, thank you to all of you for your help and input, greatly appreciate it.
My doctor said H-Pylory never really goes away. But they act out sometimes. I had a test done (blow into balloon) and it came back negative. My Fresh IVF cycles failed, but I did get pregnant with Frozen cycle. Reason my IVFs failed was uterine septum and uterine polys that I had. I changed doctors and she decided to do hysterescopy before FET and it helped.
Good luck with your IVF.
H-pylori is actually very common, from my understanding! It is also very under-diagnosed! I have heard that it is a leading cause of stomach and digestive problems! (My acupuncturist said that in England, it's the first test given when someone complains of stomach pains, etc., but here it is a bit harder - I, personally, had to push for the test. Mine came back negative)
Undiagnosed, I believe that it can cause problems, but once diagnosed and therefore, treated, you shouldn't have it cause problems for the IVF!
Good luck!
Hi Shishka, thank you very much for your help. I feel better now. Tell me, did your h-pylori go away and was your I.V.F. successful?
Hello Mary. I was diagnosed with H-Pylory couple years ago. They put me on antibiotics for two weeks. I did IVF and my doctor did not seem concerned about H-Pylory. I would ask your doctor if you are going to be taking antibiotics during your IVF treatment.
Good luck
