dermal anchors during cesarean??

I have 2 dermal anchor piercings on my shoulders. I've asked my obstetrician what i do about them in my upcoming cesarean. She said to cover them with bandaids. Still, I'm terrified I'll get shocked and burned from the electric cauterizing. Did anyone have piercings in during their cesarean section?

Not with cesarean but with 3 other major abdominal surgeries... I left my ear piercings in and they just covered them with surgical tape. It's mostly just that they don't want them in the way or to be responsible for them if they come out but those won't be an issue. Just cover them up with tape or bandaids.
