40weeks2days mucus plug?

Hi ladies I'm 40 weeks and 2 days, I think I may have lost my mucus plug . But I'm not a 100% sure . throughout my hole pregnancy I've always had white stuff come out which is totally normal because its just the vagina cleaning itself.  But today it was slightly yellow and thin, is it possible and how soon did women go into labor after loosing theirs.

I'm being induced this Sunday if he's a no show. I didn't really want to be induced, but I have a feeling I might have to get a c section for my size and maybe because the size of the baby .

I am 40 weeks 2 days as well. Mucus plug feel out little by little. Being induced Friday. Yay!!!

I only lost mucous Plug with one baby.  It was the size of my pinky and like a long rubbery cork.  It was tough & not thin or watery.

It can be hours to a week. Since your so far along it should be soon.

Ugh I hate doctors sometimes! Why would he do it so late?! Well its 3 days later & still nothing I'm beginning to think I have a new due date which is my induction date this Sunday, I'm so bummed I really want this to start already, I want to be a mom & see my baby. Plz let me know if u go into labor it will give me a glimmer of hope! :)

Hey i was loosing my mucus plug in parts from 34 weeks. I am 36 now

Hopefully everything goes well for you! My they checked my cervix at 38 weeks but was opened enough for the sweep . by 39 weeks two days before my due date my Dr told me he will do it this following Friday coming up almost a week past my due date . hopefully something happens tonight !

That sounds exactly like your mucus plug. I'm 40 wks & 2 days also I've been losing some everyday for the past two days & I'm still not in labor I did start to contract a lot & thought for sure it was time but it was a false alarm. I got my membranes stripped yesterday so I'm hoping I go into labor tonight!
