dialation

I am 36wks today and have been in labor twice and the Dr has stopped it, I'm beyond miserable at this point due to a rash from my pregnancy. I've been stuck at 1cm for 2-3wks now, is there any home remedies that could help me start dialating?

Oh I heard walking and sex will make you dilate faster. My doula said she had to leave the room with one couple so they could have sex and make the pregnant mom dilate faster. But not sure if sex is an option. When I was pregnant, I didn't want to be touched about 36 weeks when I found out it could bring on labor. and when I pleasured myself one day, I started bleeding. Scared the crap out of me!  so yeah sex may work.

Wow that's hard, but you want to make it to at least 37 weeks. Just hold on. That way baby is fully developed. Another week to go. I was induced at 38 + 2 days and spent 4 days in labor because I wouldn't dilate. It was very exhausting, but well worth it! Just hold on. Your baby needs to grow more.

Its weird for me because I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow and last Monday my Dr said I was a half a finger tip dilated and my cervix was thin. Today I went to my appt which was a wk later and my Dr said I'm almost 2 centimeters dilated. And all I do is do a lot of walking.

36 is still early...best for baby to stay in as long add possible. I'd let it be for now...

I'm pretty sure ur Dr stopped ur labor for good reason, but it is entirely possible to be stuck at 1cm dilated for weeks.  Just wait it out.  Next time u go into labor ur baby should be ready to live outside ur cozy womb without any other medical assistance.
