27.5 week appt today

Well today I get to see my angels again I'm praying they are close to 3lbs a piece now.....I also have to do my glucose testing I'm not excited at all about that....ughh but it has to be done so wish me luck.

uggh i think I'm gonna run from the nurse when they give that stuff to me now.....LOL

Yep, felt like I was buzzing with out alcohol.  Three hours after I had gotten home this gal from the doctors office calls me up and asks me if I am alright??....and I had replied "well now I am"  They told me they wanted me back in the office first thing in the morning because my sugar was DANGEROUSLY LOW.....  I am thinking like
"DUH LADY!!!!  I knew my body wasnt acting normal and I was somehow lacking something.  Once I ate and took a nap for about 3 hrs I was fine. I honestly think that office needs to change there policy and let there patients recooperate.

they usually start out with the one hour then if you fail that its the 3 hour so my guess is she will be doing the 1 hour...

valleybabes... really? thats crazy.  I would have been ticked at the people.. I started to feel woozy after about 45 minutes and the lady gave me a drink of water..

I had to fast for mine that sucked big time! my sugar was only 107 so thats really good i guess but it showed up i was anemic so now I had to start taking iron pills

The one hour wasn't so bad but when I failed that one they had me do the three hour and let me tell you....I was not only feeling dizzy after it was all over that I also felt drunk and could not drive!!!!  That was the scariest feeling ever!  I told my doc about it and he got upset over that and told me they should have had some crackers and juice available to snack on.  Doc told me that he would make that an issue at the hospital board meetings.  Thank god I wasn't in any rush to get home ....I sat in my car for a while and until I was able to sober up I guess you would say...lol

no I didn't fast they just told me not eat alot of sugary stuff...

I thought I would throw up when I drank that stuff but honestly it wasn't that bad..  Just you start to get dizzy once the sugar really hits ya so make sure you are sitting... and they told me If i got too dizzy I could take a few sips of water... did you have to fast?

Well if you lose it then you gotta start all over again girlie...lol  Sorry, but I thought the same thing and they told me they had plenty of that stuff to go around.

Thanks ladies I won't be back online til tomorrow morning but you better bet I'll be updateing and I'll try to get the new u/s pics up Monday.....I'm sorta worried about keeping the nasty stuff you drink down....since being pregnant my gag reflexes work extra extra good and I'm affraid when I drink if it's really nasty I'll lose it.....

WIshing you luck here Brandi!!!  I am so excited for you ..I know when I get to see my little prince my heart just races because i wanna know how big he has gotten.  Isn't this fun going through all this together!!!  Well when you get back I want an update on those little darlins!!!
