That's a terrible spelling. It doesn't look like it spells Matilda at all. It looks more like Matey Ida.

I love it spelt the original way.. my daughter was goin to be matilda with the nickname tilly :)
But we chose a different name.  It was back on list for this baby but he's a boy so no lol

Yea I agree, don't give her a crazy spelling. My name is "Debie" and anytime I have to give my name I have to say "Debie, with ONE B". It's a hassle, people are always spelling it wrong even my own family at times. And forget spell check on computers or phones...they always change it to "Debbie". Lol

I definitely agree with everyone. Name is good, spelling will make that name mispronounced her while life which can get frustrating. My name is only 5 letters and as easy as it is since it was not a normal name i always had to spell it and say it which got frustrating. When i was a kid i would intentionally spell it differently on homework because i hated how it was spelled.

Name is fine,  spelling is not.  Her name will always be pronounced & spelled wrong. Not cool to set her up for aggravation :/

Well the only reason it's spelled like that is because it's 3 names into one i wanted a Lil bit of all my siblings in there  lol  my name is pretty simple and people still get it wrong

I think it's a beautiful name! I actually considered it when I was picking out names. I do agree though with the spelling. It does suck when people always spell my name wrong or tell me it's not the right way to spell it. But then again there isn't really a right way to spell a name ya know?

Agreed with the last two comments. Without you specifying I never would have assumed that was Matilda and your child will have to go the rest of her life with people constantly saying and spelling her name wronf

I love it as well and I agree with the comment above I like the original spelling but it's beautiful either way!

I love it. It's a beautiful name. Although I do prefer he original spelling.
