A friend had inverted nipples her whole life but after delivering the came out when her milk came in. But like the other ladies said you can still breastfeed even if they remain inverted. I'm sure a lactation specialist will have the best advice for you.
Mine are the same way, either try a nipple shield which my hospital supplied for me and it worked great. You only use it to get baby to latch and suck for a few minutes then you take the shield of and latch baby to nipple only, or right before feeding roll your nipple with your thumb and forefinger till your nipple is out enough where baby can latch. If it's your first I suggest starting with the shield good luck.
I have heard it does but if u will buy some nipple shields easy fix.
good luck
