I was jogging and then my Dr said don't because of shaking baby syndrome and was laughing ..but I wasn't sure if he meant really stop or continue

Sounds like an inappropriate joke but you can always call and ask for clarification.

I am almost 38-39 weeks and still take cardio classes which involve jogging.  My dr said the only thing "I" couldn't do is sky dive or exercise on my back but one should always check with ther dr before exercising because some people will have restrictions

He was joking. However, jog only if you've been doing it prior to the pregnancy. Don't start a whole new form of exercise while prego. It's good to stay active, keep moving, you'll have less aches, pains & will help make delivery easier. Plus working out helps w keeping you feeling happy while your hormones are racing crazy. Once you get bigger in the belly invest in a maternity belly support belt. Wear it when you jog.

It's fine to jog when you're pregnant. Shaken baby syndrome happens if someone violently shakes the baby after they're born. It sounds like your doctor was making a distasteful joke.
