Hi, once you get a positive ovulation test, you release an egg within 24-36hrs (normally)
so if you have sex leading up to ovulation there is a good chance the sperm will be already there waiting for the egg also having sex on the day you ovulate or day after still gives you a chance, having looked into stuff quite a lot, it seems it is no mean feat for the sperm to meet the egg and I wonder how some women fall pregnant so easily or "by accident" ;) - so in answer to your question it seems you had sex just before ovulation so therefore stand a chance of becoming pregnant, if you do concieve then the egg can take 6-10 days to implant into your uterus, once this has happened you start to produce HCG which will give you a positive pregnancy test :) - hope this info helps!
& I hope you get your positive preg test this month. Good Luck.
