Baby aspirin (80 mg) is the most commonly used drug for blood thinning in pregnancy.

Ask your doctor about this.

I had 2 pregnancies which resulted in a missed abortion and premature baby. They were small for their gestational ages and my doc suspected a blood clotting disorder which affected the growth of the babies and scents was nt working. In my subsequent pregnancy I was placed on Fraxiparine at week 6 and went on to have a full term healthy child. Now I am pg again and have been given Fraxiparine for daily injection and thank God so far so good. Fraxiparine will help with any blood clotting that can affect the flow ofkoxygen blood and nutrients for the baby.

i had 3 miscarriages since 1995. now i am 23 weeks pregnant and i am into fraxiparine injection 2850 i.u./ day since my 10th week of pregnancy up to the time of my delivery. before my perinatogist ask me to have my injections, i was ask to have an anti-cardiolipin antibody test. i exceeded to the normal value thus, she explain that i need to have my daily injection for my blood to have enough oxygen to sustain my placenta of oxygen to nourish my baby. it is not a guarantee that i would have my baby in full term thus, i was also ask to have a bed rest from that time on to prevent preterm delivery. i hope i was able to help...

Hello, i used to be pregnant, but i lost the baby because the pulse stopped in week 10.
i made blood tests and the results was that i had blood clots and i should use fraxiparine during pregnancy inorder that the nutrition can reach the baby.
thanks for God iam now pregnant and i took fraxiparine from the beginning of my pregnancy till the end of week 12 once a day.
but now iam taking it a day and the second not, that is 4 times a week.
but it is better to ask your doctor inordere to explain for you more about the case.

Have you asked your doctor?  A doctor must have recommended these injections, would he/she not be the best to answer your concerns?  Sorry, wish I could be more help : )
