scared but happy at the same time

Hi i am New here.

I just found out last night that i am expecting. I am scared/but happy at the same time because  3 years ago I had a Son born at 25 weeks he lived a day. ( my water broke)  They took him by c-section and told me that carring another baby may be hamful to my body.  I am wondering if anyone has been though having a premuture baby and then going on to delivery a healthy baby.   I am scared to death that the same thing will happen again.  I want to be excited about this but i am so scared.  Any information you can give will be greatly appricated.

Thanks

My SIL had a daughter born at 26 weeks. 2lbs. 2oz. Her water didn't break right away, she just went into labor and Drs. couldn't stop it. Her daughter did survive and 3 years later she had another daughter who she carried full term. Good Luck!

i have not exp a delivery that early and im so sorry for your loss.  im sure it has to be very hard and scary to find out yet you are excited for your new bundle!!

im guessing you will see a high risk dr?   find one that will listen to your every need and take care of you the best they can.  i was at a birthday party with a mom whos first dd was born very early too.  not as early but still maybe 26 weeks?  i dont know her but at the time (several months ago) was already 32 weeks so there is proof it can happen!!

congrats and i wish you the best for this pregnancy
