I just found out I am pregnant today

I am 37, just found out today with a hpt. With calculations I am 6 weeks. I go to the drs next Friday. I am having cramps but not cramp like just this full stretching feeling in my lower abdomen. Is this normal to be stretching this early or should I be concerned it is not painful but I can feel it?

I am now 5 weeks pg, and its my 5th pg lol.  Every pg i had cramping and pains in the 4-8 week range, my ob tells me it is round ligament pains and its just my bodys reaction to the sudden need for the extra space. totally normal as long as theres not bleeding involved.

Congratulations! I'm having the same feeling! only.... I haven't taken a test. I had a period that was way lighter than normal, only spotting for 5 days then went off and 3 dys later light pink spotting and now my back is hurting with this weird stretching sensation in my pelvic area. I'm hoping for the best.

Meant to say that my OB has told me that the only time to really worry about cramping is if there is also blood or if the cramps get so bad you can't breathe or you are doubled over in pain.

I had major cramping in weeks 4 and 5 and then it calmed down a bit, but I have cramped almost this entire pregnancy so far (in week 17 now)  It's normal.  Cramps and stretching early on is your body getting ready for what's about to come.  Good luck, hun!! Oh, and congratulations!!

I had the same kind of stretching/ cramping early on with my last two pregnancies and was told it was normal and just to take it easy not to pull anything.

if you start to bleed with the cramps then you deff. need to go to the doctors .

Nope, a week ago I had like some discharge when I wiped after peeing. It was clear but sticky but that's it
