The most important thing is making sure that your going to be financially stable enough to take care of the child, I wouldn't say there is anything wrong with you or him that's just what has worked for you, I say do it as long as financially with the kind of jobs you guys have you can take care of the child and yourself
Try finding out when you ovulate, you could be trying at the wrong time. My husband and I were trying too for a while and we got pregnant using an app i found on my phone that tracks you most fertile days. Best wishes .
Thanks for all the advice. . Im actually using the ovulation calendar of my cycle.. hope this will help..godbless
By day way what app is that so I can have it in my phone. It might help. Thanks a lot.
Pay attention to your body...there are physical signs when you are fertile such as your discharge becomes kinda slimy and smooth and egg whitish. Your temp also increases. Also too much sex can lower how many sperm are in each session. Try having sex every other day from the time you stop bleeding. Ovulation predictor tests are great at telling you when you are ovulation and they aren't too expensive. Also both of you should be taking vitamins now. Get a good prenatal vitamin (I recommend a whole food supplement so you dont deal with constipation from the synthetic iron in most supplements) also put up your feet or elevate your hips for a bit after sex. Its all in timing and healthy couples only have a 20% chance of conceiving each month and it is normal for it to take a year or longer. If after about 6 more months of doing the above I would seek some help and maybe just get your man tested for sperm count. Women feel it is always them immediately when in fact it is usually the men. Sorry so long. I have some other pointers if you want to message me or have any questions about anything else.
Hi me and my husband had been trying for 10 years..he was tested and ok..my fsh hormone was high meaning my egg quality was getting low and likely to hit the.change young..we had ivf 2 years ago that didn't work and was about to have another go..then luckly I found out I was pregnant naturally in January ;) total shock as I was going to use donnor eggs this time ...so don't give up hope!! there is loads of advice and tips out there but do see your GP to rule things out...good luck hun
Me and my husband try for 9 years. My first daughter almost 10 years old. When we were going to give up God granted our wish now I am pregnant close 37 weeks. so don't give up but also don't think about it too much. Stress is not good for women who try to conceive. Just enjoy the sex and take vitamins E. Dont give yourself and your partner pressure.
honestly what worked for me was eating healthy. doctors told me I could never come out pregnant ,I'm 25 and I'm due next month.May sound silly but after intercourse put your legs straight up for ten minutes with your butt on the wall. Good luck and know that if u keep faith God will bless u.
We dont smoke. He drinks ocassionally. .
alcohol has been known to lower sperm too.. I'm 25, and before becoming pregnant my fiancé & I had been purposely trying for about a year. we're both young, healthy, etc. so I thought for sure something was wrong..
well, I read that alcohol does affect fertility.. so, we cut back on drinking, started taking vitamins, and started eating a little healthier..
when my period didn't come in February, I took a test, and we literally both went into the bathroom to look at it.. but we were both prepared for disappointment..
BUT, now here I am.. 9 weeks + 2 days!! --- my advice: START TAKING VITAMINS NOW, I prefer the gummy ones (2 a day).. I can't take pills, start eating healthier, stop "trying" & start enjoying it.. so often I felt like an old woman who couldn't even enjoy sex anymore lol. we'd do it, then I'd lay there with my feet in the air thinking, "this is hopeless.." it wasn't romantic, almost wasn't fun.. it almost became a chore!
good luck, and I know it'll happen for you! as someone else stated, if none of this helps within 6 months, I'd get some advice from a professional. there's also all kinds of fertility kits you can look up & order.. I was going to order a lubricant called "pre-seed" THE MONTH I found out I was pregnant lol - funny how that worked out! anyway, sorry so long & good luck again!! ((:
Stop trying, just enjoy the sex and intimate times with ur partner, it's always as soon as u stop trying or think ur giving up, is when ur get pregnant, there's soo many couples that have tried for years n then as soon as they stop trying..suprise!! It happened with me, we were trying for a year n then I was getting so stressed about it that my period was 11 days late, at that point I said enoughs enough, if it's gonna happen then it will, im now 14+4 weeks.
