stressed with childs father.??

Ever since I've found out I was pregnant there has been a continuing amount of drama between me and my Unborn daughters father. We can't stay on good terms for long. Either he throws a fit or I do. This drama has been stressing me out. I've been worried that if I keep stressing that something will happen to my baby girl (who I am naming Kaiya btw) like a cleft lift or something. I am 29 weeks tomorrow. I've decided to cut him off until she is born as of yesterday but I still think its a little too late... I really just want my first child to be normal

Im sorry but clift pallets are not from drugs or smoking or drinking or stress! Its a gene thing! Its passed down in families! My doctor said it can skip generations and then show up again in my kids or there kids! My great grandmother didnt do any of those things but she gave birth to my grandmother who has a clift lip! My grandmother had 4 kids. 3 boys and a girl(my mom) my 2 older uncles were born with clift lips! My mom gave birth to 9kids none of them have clift lips! My mom did drugs and smoked and drank! We were all healthy! I have 3 kids and one on the way in 14days! I have never done drugs or drank or smoked but i have been under a lot of stress! My bfs family likes drama! My exhusband is trying to take my kids im in and out of court with him. Im stressed to the max! My baby is healthy! Just take care of ur self and eat right and everything will be fine!

I'm going through the same exact situation. I decided to cut him off and he didn't really care. Never asks how his daughter is or anything. Stress gets a lot worse the longer you let it continue, especially with a baby. My ex and I only have contact through email and only about our daughter. Don't cut him off completely just limit what the conversations can be about. Babies don't make it easier so don't count on working things out when you have your daughter. Figure out how to deal with him in a civil way now to make it a lot easier later.

Im sorry if when I said I just want her to be normal that it seemed like I won't love her the same but I guarantee she will still receive the love and care even if something is wrong. I just think that if it's preventable then I will try to prevent it. And yes I've decided to keep things simple between us. Once she's here we'll work on things from there. Until then we are somewhat distant

I think ur baby will be fine. With my second pg i was stress out from when i found out almost to the day that i had her. I was in the middle of boyfriend n my family they hated each other. Cutting him off is a good idea, but at some point u will still have to communicate with him. So just keep things really simple between u too. Only talk about the baby for now. Thats wut i did n now im married n we are very happy! GOOD LUCK N LOVE UR BABY NO MATTER WHAT!!

I think cleft lips are a symptom of drug or alcohol use or smoking during pregnancy.

So, unless you are smoking and drinking and doing drugs because of the stress I'm sure she should be fine. But you really should try and avoid the drama.  I literally cut off one of my family members for that particular reason.  I told her I didn't need nor want her ridiculous drama so stop contacting me.  It sounds harsh but stress is not good for anyone.. especially pregnant women.

Stay away from him. When he's ready to act like a grown up instead of a child then maybe you can let him back in... But right now you need to focus on your health as well as baby's.
