stupid question ..
This might sound stupid but I'm a first time mom and I''ll be 34 weeks Saturday. I have no stretchmarks besides one on the skin where I had my belly button done and I can believe how sore and tender it is, it's purple ish and I'm so nervous of the skin tearing .. can this happen?

I have the same thing. I didn't even think of it tearing.I think you'll be ok. I'm 38 weeks and its still fine. Just purpleish like you said.
It won't tear don't worry. I got a funny line right where my belly button ring was also. And after you have baby it will lighten up over time and not be so purple.
