no recent ultrasounds

So my last ultrasound was at 27 weeks. The tech seemed to rush through and was just doing measurements and said everything seemed fine. I'm 36 weeks tomorrow and can't help but feel anxious or worried about will he have ten fingers and toes, cleft palate, anything wrong. Is this normal to worry? I wish my doctor would do another ultrasound just to check his weight so I could see him again and ease thoughts.

i wouldnt worry about it to much since the person doing the ultrasound isnt the actul person that will end up diagnosing if anything is wrong they just find all the parts then the big guy will watch it all over in depth and write their report to tell you at your next app

They check for cleft palate at 20 weeks. I only had one u/s with my first pregnancy. This one I have had two, but the second one was for a follow up of a possible problem seen on the first. It's  normal to be concerned. Maybe you just had a good tech and a cooperative baby and they were able to check everything quickly. :)

Im 37 weeks and I asked my dr if I got another one and he said he could do that but when I got it down this far along you couldnt even make anything out because she is sooooo squished in there!! Lol! So you are not missing anything as far as getting to count fingers and toes... and chances are the head is so low you wouldnt even be able to see the face!! Lol I did get a estimated weight guess of 7lbs but that was about it! So dont be bummed!! :) good luck!!
