Not pregnancy related, just feeling used :-/

I just invited someone I thought was a dear friend to lunch, and she told me if I wanted to continue being friends with her I would have to invite her boyfriend too. I was like ..?!!... I haven't seen her in the six months they have been dating, and just wanted a chance to catch up. She lost her job and I offered to take her out, but I didn't invite her boyfriend who I'd have never met (or my hudband!) Because  it is Christmas and we are also not in a position to pay for everyone. I let her know that and she basically told me she wouldn't come out unless her bf could too. I told her I understand and asked her to let me know when they are in a position to be able to spend some time together. I can't help but feel used...

I don't know, I have never met him, and haven't seen her since they started going out 6 months ago, even though I have invited her over and out to lunch numerous times...I would like to spend some alone time with her before meeting him and she basically made me feel like a horrible person for not including him in the invite

That's a little werid. Unless he is controlling and made her invite him too? Or they just wanted a free lunch?
