What are ok thing to eat before the one hour glucose test

I wouldn't have the fruit just because fruit is high in sugar and you might not get an accurate result.  :)

I have mine tomorrow. They said I can eat anything up until 2 hours before :/ should I not have eat my normal fruit and oatmeal in the morning?

I just took my test last week and my doc said a normal breakfast with water was fine and then whole waiting the hr I could only drink water .. hope this helps

My midwife advised that if I needed too eat something it had to be protein and she specified boiled eggs.

I find out tomorrow actually. Since mine was the non fasting test my doctor told me I could eat anything 2-3 hrs before except for like a slurpee or something lol.  But I didn't eat any sugar or carbs the whole day before and I ate 2 hard boiled eggs early morning before the test.. 3 hrs before.. I thought eggs would be good since they are high in protein and have 0 sugar in them. So I will see if I passed or not. . I'll let you know.  :). When do you take your test?

I didn't eat anything for 5 hours before.

I had hard boiled eggs 3 hrs before I went.  :)
