My two youngest are also isish twins they are 11 months apart. Once you get a routine down it will be much easier. My advice would be put them both down for naps at the same time and have them eat at the sane tine. If its not meal or snack time for your older one give an art project to do so you can feed your baby in peace and have that bonding time:) hope this helped a little. My two youngest are4 and 3 now my oldest is 7 this one is due on the fourth of july
I'm in the same boat. My daughter is 12.5 months and I'm 20 weeks. They'll be 17 months apart. I'm trying to make play dates with other moms with smaller babies so she can get used to seeing me holding another baby and still paying attention to her. She loves babies though. She always touches their heads and wants to see them up close. Have you tried any baby wearing with your daughter? I find it helps a lot with closeness. Or just having a time to cuddle during the day. I also noticed my daughter was really clingy when she wasn't getting enough sleep. We did sleep training and now she's so much happier and independent.
Now they fight over who is the big boy and who it going to help more once their sister is born lol
At first yes.. he would steal the binky or the blanket.. but once i included him.. ex.. can you get the baby his binky.. he was much better about it. He got to be the big boy and help. :)
My first has jealousy issues big time. Anytime I'm around another child she gets mad. Even when I hug her father she cries. Did you have any issues with jealousy?
I did the same thing. My boys are irish twins! It is rough at first, but once you get past the first months it gets so much easier. Schedule schedule schedule. .. really helps! They ate together, napped together etc. Now they are 3 and 2 and do everything together. Much easier! Hang in there, it works out in the end
