honestly surprised you've gotten sleep at all.. its Just gonna get worse unfortunately.. try a big body pregnancy pillow and take naps during the day...
Have you tried sleeping in a recliner? It was the only way my oldest sister could get any sleep while she was pregnant with her 1st.
I'm 29 weeks pregnant with twins and I am so uncomfortable. I can't sleep at all. I fall asleep and toss and turn all night. It's horrible. I have tried sleeping on my couch and recliner but still am very uncomfortable. My hubby is great tho...he surrounds me with pillows if I sleep in our bed and he'll sleep on the couch. But the pillows really don't help me.
Aavian and heatherbelle, I'm with you ladies. It's hard carrying twins because you can feel pretty alone and like no one really understands what you're going through. I'm almost 26 weeks with identical girls and I'm getting pretty miserable. I bought a thick body pillow and was recently gifted a more firm mattress. It helped for a week, but now I'm tossing and turning all night again. I've found that too much cushioning (like a mattress topper) just makes my hip pain worse and if the pillow I keep between my legs isn't thick enough it doesn't seem to make a difference. Ladies, were getting close, maybe getting some support from other twin mommies will help. I know sometimes I just feel better when I can vent a little to someone who can relate. It's really hard when you see/hear singleton preggos talking about how uncomfortable they are at 36 weeks and how close they are to being done, knowing you feel that way with three months to go. I'm thinking of you girls and praying for us all to stay strong for the multiple babies we're growing and ourselves! Message me if you need a little extra emotional support, I'd love to chat!
I could sleep well until the last month due to cholestasis which caused horrible itching. I would get adjusted very often and slept with a body pillow. I never had back or hip problems and I would sleep all night long comfortably.
