30 weeks pregnant due June 23rd.

Hello ladies so today I when to my doctor appointment and she said everything was fine and the heart beat was excellent but when she was measuring the belly she said the baby might be a little bigger so she send me to an ultra sound next week. My question is does this mean i will have a bigger baby (first time mom) or could she be wrong about the baby measuring a little bigger? Anyone else gone thru this please comment ?

I'm due June 29th and my doctors say my baby is big even though I haven't gained a pound. They say it's harder to tell in first time moms.

I have no idea, I would ask the doctor if you're really nervous about it.

My entire pregnancy they have told me he was measuring big and suddenly last week said he is measuring small and scheduled me for another ultrasound. So who knows that was Friday and Tuesday high risk specialist measured and said baby was measuring about a week big.

@melbelle87 couldn't it also mean he might be longer or when they talk about pound they mean fat as chubby or both?

My first pregnancy I measured big and had a 9lb 13oz boy, so yeah it could mean a big baby but they also could be wrong. It's pretty hard to tell how big the baby will be, especially for first time moms. Either way, as long as the baby is healthy I wouldn't worry too much. They'll get that baby out one way or another :) good luck.
