I'm 39 weeks pregnant
The last time I went to my appointment the nurse told me that I was still at 1/2 dilated n I'm just so concern at what might they say to me wen I go back this Monday again cuz my due date is the 28 of this month and this is my first pregnancy...
It is something to experience I'm so bless to have my hubby be there for support n the all staff that help through this process now just gotta focus on recovering n enjoy this new journey God has bless us with!

Congrats! I am 38 seeks and 6 days I had my appointment today and only one cm dilated. I was hoping with all the contractions I have been having I would make progress. I hope he comes before next week or I will be induced on my due date which is Sept 2

Well ladies I had my baby girl this afternoon!
I wouldn't go by how dilated you are. My obgyn said that everyone is djfferent some people don't start to dilate or effece until they go into labor...other women dilate a little bit and stay that way for weeks. I went into the hospital a week ago at 38+3 with bad contractions 3 mins apart.....but I wasn't dilated or effaced at all so they sent me home! I had an apt today I'm 39+4 the Dr didn't check me today though I'm going in for an ultrasound tomorrow and then he said he will check me wed when I go back in to discuss the ultrasound. They might be inducing me because my baby is measuring big. My due date is Thursday. They don't want me going past my due date since the baby is big. I'm praying i just go into labor in the next couple days so I don't have to be induced.
Just had my appt. I'm still 2 cm dilated But she said her head is soo low. She said she doesn't think I'll make it to my next appt before I have her! Hope you got some good news!

I have the same due date as you and I have an appt tmrw too haha last week when I went I was 2 cm dilated. But I haven't really had any signs of labor or anything just some period like cramping. Let me know how it goes girl!
Yea but I don't have no sex drive wat so ever n walking yea I'm doin that just a little...Hopefully tomorrow wen I go for my check I get some good news thank y'all ladies!
Have tried having sex and walking or just uping your activity? It works in most cases. Im 37 & 4 days 1.5cm as of my last appointment so I started increasing my physical activity. Hoping by my next appointment in labor or very close to it. I didn't have to do it with my oldest but my current youngest I walked myself into labor with her.
Try not to be nervous, you're almost there. Baby will come when it's ready. It's hard to predict. Some women can be a 4 cm dilated for a week prior to delivery and others can be at 1cm and go into labor 12 hours later.
