Does a membrane sweep have to be scheduled or will the doctor do it the same day you ask?

Yes they will if you ask and you have to be 2cm dilated. I was going to at my 39w appointment today but they couldn't because I am only 1cm.

Yah I know they dont work for everybody but I might try it just to see

I head them done 2 days a go at 39 weeks ..and now i ask my self how eficient  it is

They do it before 40 weeks. I'll be 37 weeks at my appt next week so not sure if they'll do it that early or if she'll make me wait till 38 weeks

I didn't know you could ask for one?! I have an appt tomorrow I'll be 39+2 do you think they would do it if I ask or do they usually wait until past 40?

You can just ask at your normal appt and they should do it if your far enough.

It depends  on the doctor  and i think  u need to ask
