bed rest!!

34 weeks now. Last Wednesday the doctor checked me, I was 2 centimeters and 70% effaced. Got an us of the baby fluids are 13% and his head is in my pelvis... waiting to go back to get checked again. Was ordered for bed rest tho so I been trying to take it easy. It's just hard having 2 active little boys and work. Since then tho, I get random sharp cramps and back aches. Anyone else going thru this or have suggestions? I'm afraid he's coming to soon, just need reassurance I guess.. Thank you ♡

Both of my boys were born at 34 weeks. They were both very healthy just small. My daughter was born 36 weeks and spent 1 week in the nicu. I was on bed rest with all 3 of them from about 26 weeks until I delivered. With my daughter they were so concerned the.put me on 2 different meds that made me sleep for about 16hrs a day just to make sure I was not causing my uterus to much stress. Now I am expecting my 4th I will probably repeat this process and be back on bed rest. Hang in there, it is worth it in the end.

I started having contractions at 34wks and was 50% effaced bit no dilation. I was put on bed rest until 36wks which I where I am now (36+2) to try and slow down Contractions and not dilate. I have my apt in 2 days to get checked again. Dr said as long as I make it to now he won't stop labor because baby has been measuring large and dr said he should be fine with no complications! Can't wait to see where I am at my next apt.

I went into preterm labor at 31 weeks. 2cm 50% effaced. Now at 32+5 I have a follow up to see if there are any changes. I'm trying to at least get to where you are as complications and nicu stays go down tremendously Do your best to rest. And know that at 34 weeks plus your chances are good for a healthy baby. They told me if he starts to come after 35/36 weeks they won't stop it unless absolutely necessary.
