baby shower???

Ok so i really want a baby shower and my friend wants to organise one for me BUT.... my little bump wont open its legs at scans to reveal the gender. So i was wondering if anyone else has had a baby shower with the sex unknown?

I went to my doctor on my second appointment, and I wanted to see gender of my baby at that he had his legs crossed. Today I have ultrasound wish me good luck. My baby doesnt have its legs crossed. I ask the ultrasound tech and she said it looked like a boy. I just wanna be confirmed.

You can do a "Pea in the pod" babyshower which is when the gender is unknown..and you can receive clothing/ items of neutral colors such as,  yellow, green, white, black, etc...so its fine for either gender when he/she arrives

I had a gender neutral baby shower.  We don't want to know the sex of our baby until baby arrives.

Yes it will just let the tech know that u havent been able to find out the gender of your baby if they could please check again make sure u drink the apple juice!

Thanx ladies... i have my last scan in january and im due in march... its a growth scan so will that be detailed enough to hopefully tell?

Then it probly is a myth but i would.try my best to get another ultrasound done before babyshower that way they know what to.get u and.what u will need and if you do go for another ultrasound drink apple juice or orange juice to.get baby active

I think that's a myth.. My sisters baby wouldn't uncross it's legs and she had a boy. Why not maybe do one after baby is born? I know not as much fun but then everyone gets to meet baby and you know what baby is. Or do a gender neutral shower or maybe ask everyone to keep recipes or get gift recipts in case you never find out until delivery. That way you can take back what you need to.

I heard when.babies dont uncross their legs its a girl!! But i dint know if its true or just a myth

When do you have your next ultrasound to find out when? You could plan the baby shower (book a hall, decide on food, get your games and prizes together) then hopefully soon you will find out what the gender is. You could also just have a baby shower that is gender neutral.
