I have gotten the flu shot with every pregnancy. Mainly bc I had my first doing the big swine flu out break and didn't want to risk her and/or myself if I got the flu.  There were woman in my state on the news having lost babies and that died as well bc when a pregnant woman gets it she is at the highest risk for complications.  I am not trying to scare or or say you should get it just saying what scared me into it.  Now I am on my third pregnancy.  I also have always been pregnant in winter when it is at its worst.  That is why she is pressuring you.  But she needs to understand your beliefs and feelings.  If you do not want it just say "I have looked at the pros and cons of getting it and do not feel it is what is best for me and my baby.  Please mark this in your notes so we do not have to discuss it again. If I change my mind I promise I will tell you."

I ask because my dr keeps trying to make me get it. And I don't feel like I need to or it's a necessity especially because I never got it with my previous pregnancies or have been sick! I have told her no damn near every doctor visit... how can I explain my feelings without getting mad because she's getting on my nerves

Im 29+6 & I was the exact same way.  Realized sleeping on da couch on my side with pillows was best for me.  I also sleep good in my recliner some nights.
