name advice

Hi! I know it's a little early, but I got my husband to agree to an adorable name if we have a boy. The only problem is that he would have the initials O.D.D. :/ I suggested switching the first and middle names, then he could just go by his middle,  but hubby doesn't like the way it sounds in that order. Would terrible initials be enough for you to nix a great name?

I would keep it. I have realized no matter what someone will find something wrong with a name. When trying to name my first born it was hard but with the last name Ford we gave up knowing no matter what we can't give him a "good" name. We just went with our fathers names and because of his middle name Russell (we never thought of it until someone called him it) he's rusty ford lol now you can't get much worst then that but we don't bring it up and the only people who calls him it are friends at church who do it loving and he doesn't see nothing wrong with it :)

Initials are something that I hadn't even considered. So no, I do not think that should deter you.

I have a friend who's parents intentionally made his initials A.W.S.M so it sounds like awesome :)

My sister's initials are B A G and no one ever really said anything about that :)

My Husbands initals are B A G as well and he always harrasses his mom about it lol

Thanks for your input. I'm so glad to hear you all say that! We love the name. Well that's one thing off my list - just 2, 476, 282 things left to get ready for baby. What are you trying to/did you get done early?

My Initials Were ** ....Totally Got Made Fun Of Alllll Through School Ha But Nobody Pays Attention To The Initials For The Entire Name, At Least Once They Are Older And Kids Get Mean.
