first time mom

We found out Saturday that we are pregnant.  I had bleeding on the 26th and 27th of July,  so I thought for sure I wasn't,  then I felt extra bloated so I took a at home test,  POSITIVE! So I got my blood test, it confirmed it. However I have no idea if I'm in the first week or 3rd week, due to the bleeding at the end of the month. My periods are very normal, every 28 days and last about 3-4 days. But this one was 2 days and came earlier than I was scheduled for a period. I'm so worried, I want to do everything correctly,  we are so excited to be pregnant,  my fiance wants to shout it from the roof topS, well, so do I!! Being so early is nerve wrecking. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else has bleeding like I did, it wasn't like spotting,  it was just like a period,  but shorter. I ovulated on the 12th, so I thought for sure that was when it happened,  until the nurse said that I could've had a period on the 26-27th. My hcg level was at 105 as of Monday. Congrats to all you mommies out there! i also had to buy my wedding gown 2 sizes bigger, to fit my new belly In it, we're getting married in November!

Thank you ladies!  I'm taking my pre natals and drinking tons of water! It's hard to eat early in the morning, I get hungry every hour basically now, but I'm not really wanting to eat much, I do toast, knowing baby needs food! Any suggestions?

All you can do this early is drink lots of water and take your prenatal vitamins and eat healthy. Congrats mama!

Congratulations! The OB will probably tell you more than we can just take it easy for a while (OB will probably recommend no sex for two weeks or so) just be careful and ask ur doc as many questions as you want. Try not to worry too much, I was a mess because I had miscarried before so it's really hard not to worry. Get your ultrasound to help ease your mind.
