Different doc?

Hi this is my 3rd pregnancy, first 2 were missed miscarriages. Had my 1st doc appt today baby is showing 7wks (yay because that were we should be) but the doc had a hard time locating the baby, this was done thru a vaginal scan so I was a bit surprised.... We were able to hear the heartbeat but wondering if it's ok to see a different doc?

I have had a different doctor with every pregnancy with this current pregnancy I seen 3 before I decided if your not comfortable with your doctor then switch the doctor I chose is great and treats me like a friend and not a patient my lost pregnancy I was 14 weeks and no one had checked the heartbeat since 6 weeks and I went in and told them I demand them to check me because I had a bad feeling and fetus stopped growing at 6 weeks but my body was still acting as if I were still pregnant so I was very upset never be afraid to switch doctors

I personally changed doctors after my miscarriage and found out I was expecting again three months later, I felt my first doctor wasn't meeting my expectations..the doc I have now has been an awesome doctor, giving me answers to ALL my questions and he takes his time to make sure I understand and know everything I need to know..you truly want someone that makes you feel secure, its your baby and your health! Why not have someone that meets all your needs in every way possible...just my opinion however.

Well sometimes the baby is hard to find at first depending on where it's placed. Doesn't mean the doctor or tech needs more training.

Doctors normally do not do the scan it's usually done by the tech or at least in my experience that's how it's gone

she couldn't locate the fetus is took her 10minutes to find it and of course I've shown my husband ever video out there he was able to see it before she did, I just fee like she needs a little more training

If you are not comfortable with your dr you can always change. Having a good dr you like and trust is very important during pregnancy.
