Birth story at last :)

So yesterday marked day 11 of being overdue and was the day before my induction was booked. Woke up feeling fine had my shower decided that today nothing would happen so for the first time in like 3 weeks didn't shave legs or bikini line lol I was home alone when I the contractions started 3 mins apart about 12.15, I had about 4 before calling hubby and a sitter. Got in car at 12. 40 contractions were less then 3mins by then and coming strong but not too painful we hit traffic bad so hubby who a police officer had to break about a hundred laws and speed to the hospital. Arrived at 1pm the midwife didn't even check me she just said yep you'd in labour want some gas? Which I took at I felt bad by then. I told her it won't belong now I feel pushy. Then chaos erupted in the room, my water broke with baby pooh on in followed by a massive scream as I collapse and fall back into hubby who ends up supporting all my weight in squat position as baby comes flying out in one mega painful long tearing push midwife caught her thank god. I have never felt pain like that and I've had 4 now Midway through the baby coming out I went limp and passed out from shock. The room was covered in yucky stuff as was poor midwife she had never had a delivery quite like it before she loved it. All that in 18mins of getting to hospital. My daughter is 7lbs 7oz of pure beauty I love her we just got her home . I think baby pooped inside swollowed loads of if then went into distress she had to be monitored closely for 12hrs as she was pretty shell shocked. Glad that's over good luck ladies

We are both so in love with our girl she pretty chilled out but is very much a daddies girl. My 7 year old daughter is sooooo happy and is always sitting as close as pos looking all loved up. I have got two boys and two girls I feel very lucky right now :)

Thanks ladies. My hubby is pretty awesome came home to a massive bottle of bubbly waiting in fridge aswell. Baby Emily is doing great not liking boobie at the mo though :(

That's such a crazy birth story... thank god hubby broke some speeding laws or he would have had a messy car and a baby to catch... glad you are both doing well and safe at home :-)
