Any one else here have false teeth?

I had really horrible teeth so when I was 24 I had my entire top set removed and now I have a beautiful set of falsies. They totally changed my life Im never sorry I did it but im 13 weeks pregnant with #3 and putting them back in makes me vomit ALL the time.  Its not something I can just skip either... I've tried using less adhesive, different adhesive without dyes or flavors but it doesn't seem to help. I have only had them for a couple years now.

Anyone else in the same boat? How do I get around it?

My mom has false teeth on top. I ate her teeth up as well when she was pregnant with me. She feels awful that I'm having to go through what she did. But back then it was easier to just get false teeth that you can pull out. She sometimes wishes she could go back and some new ones. That she can pull out. She uses SeaBond and always has so I don't know how that feels or tastes. I know she's getting tired of it though.

Im glad youre getting it taken care of. A couple years out and I still look at my fantastic teeth every day.  Just so glad I did it. Theyre so realistic nobody would know. Seriously, if you want, look at ny profile pic. Youd never know. They did SUCH a good job. I really want the implant kind someday. No more messing around with adhesive lol

Yep, me too. I was deemed "stuck up" because I wouldn't be talkative to people anymore. They just didn't understand. Now that it's somewhat decent for now, I'm a talker. I always would tell Dh that I didn't want to stay somewhere too long or go anywhere. But, it's starting to get better and I'm so excited for it.

I know exactly how you feel I walked around for years with the same thing. Wouldn't smile for photos... if I saw old friends Id run before they saw me! It was hell. It was the best thing I ever did for myself!

I don't have false ones that I can pull out, but I do have fake teeth up front. Or I will once it's all finished. Both my pregnancies ate my teeth up. It was horrible. I'm having crowns put on all 4 front teeth. I already have one on the right side. Having to put screws in because once the work on the teeth that's left there is done it's just barely any there. I walked around for 2 years with huge gaps up front and always had people asking me what happened. It was so heartbreaking.

Right now you can definitely tell that my right tooth is fake because it's so much whiter than the other. I had them filled until I go back in October to get them fixed. If these don't last a long time, I will most likely get true false ones.
