s/o excuses himself by saying hes stressed out about the baby

Monday I was at the hospital , early stages of labor was let go bc only dilated to a 3. They said I can have the baby any day now. Well that day my so had to give his bro a ride to the SSA. He didn't bc he was @l&d with me. When we came out  i told him we needed to run errands the next day. He flipped saying he couldn't bc already now he had to take his brother the next day. We got in an argument. I thought it was dumb he had to go when he should be here with me. I was so upset! I said oh well what can I do and left it at that. yesterday went on with my day. Went and did the errands myself. Had a good day and came back home till maybe 8. My so was calling me and texting me all day. Turns out his brother left at 4 they didn't even go to the SSA only tried online and my so wanted me to come pick him up so he can go with me . of course I didn't so he said when I got home that I ditched him and we had an even bigger fight! Smh.

Sorry didn't get to finish! So he says he's stressed out about his first child being born and that's why he's acting dumb and all. Idk I think its hormones.  What do you ladies think?

My husband damn near lost his mind before I had my first... He was gardening one morning right before my due date and our old wheel barrel kept tipping over because it was broken so he proceeded to get an axe and beat the **** out of it... Its a running joke for him now that he can't be trusted with gardening tools... He'll be fine... Just bare with him and remember this has been real for us for months but its just getting real for them now

This is his first child so maybe the stress is overwhelming. But, he must put himself in your shoes to imagine what your going thru. Making a baby is the easy part carrying it and pushing it out is not so easy. You both sound stressed out. Try to talk it out without arguing. He's has to understand your under a lot of pressure and you need him and vice versa. Good luck mama!

Omg lol that's so funny. You are very right though. It is probably just hitting him lol. I'll try and bare with him.  I find it kinda funny now at least. I was beyond upset last two days.
