Does everyone regardless of being a FTM or not lose their mucus plug?

I am a FTM and am 38 weeks today, didn't lose it yet, also had sweep done todayand didn't experience any cramping or show (that was done 3 hours ago) maybe my baby is being a good boy and coming on the 11th like I asked since its between my husband and my birthdays lol

I noticed when I lost it with my first.
I wiped after going pee and noticed it looked like someone with a half-a$$ bloody nose and a cold blew it in the TP!
It was mucus like when you ovulate. Or if you don't know - it is stickier than like, a raw egg white.
Normally they have a tinge to it, either yellow, or could be green, and streaked with blood.
I lost part of mine last weekend, Friday it was a clear glob, and Saturday it was a little cloudy. It worried me cause I'm only 19wks!

Mine were quite different. With my first I lost my mucus plug (or parts) a few days before, and it looked like a blob of mucus. With my second I was in labour for a few hours before a fair bit of blood came out (like a medium period). I freaked out, but I think it was just the mucus plug (different to last time). I didn't know blood was so normal in labour as I had none with my first, I thought it was a really bad sign! My midwife said it can be pretty normal though unless it's huge amounts. Anyway, to prepare you, they are 2 opposites of what your mucus plug may look like!

I never noticed if i did lose mine with my first!  My water also never broke! I was waiting for those 2 signs to tell me it was almost go time but they never showed up.   I just started getting contractions!  My first was also 3 weeks!  Best of luck to you!

You can pee it out and not notice it. They say a lot of women don't know they have lost it or don't until labor.
