Anyone felt with HG. Having a hard time coping.

I found out I have HG Hyperemesis graviduram. Having a really hard time coping. I can't get out of bed or play with my daughter or get any cleaning done. I just lie in bed depressed, depressed and tired about being sick. will it ever come to an end? I have even thought about abortion. Thats how bad it gets sometimes. Sometimes I just feel like dying. How did you cope and make it through? How did you get your spouse through it, to understand and not get frustrated with you?

Try meclizine paired with a b6 vitamin. I've had HG twice and i totally understand what you're going thru. It's debilitating! keep an open line of communication with your spouse. when you need help, ask for it. tell him exactly how you feel. and i agree with having him read up on it. both pregnancies i had try everything and was even hospitalized and placed on a zofran pump. still no relief. But this pregnancy, the combination worked for me! Keep your head up. there's a light at the end of the tunnel!

Thank you. I've tried the zofran and all the other meds and the sea bands. I will definitely try having him read about it. Thanks that's a good idea. Next I'm going to try acupuncture and hypnosis. I read up on both, worth a try.

Hg is no joke. I have gone through three of them. Communicate as much as possible with your spouse. It might help to have him read about other people going through to help understand how hard it is on you so he can have a better understanding that it's more than just bad morning sickness. It was very hard for us to go through, but talking helped and letting him know what you really appreciate whatever he does might make him feel better and more useful. I hired help to clean and watch the kids at times and it made a huge difference. If you can find an online support group join it. It's very isolating. It's hard on everyone. Praying you get relief soon!
