Anyone make family members get any shots?

I was advised by my obgyn to get the tdap vaccine and after talking to a few friends, some got it and some declined. Those who got it also made their family members get it. Just wondering what other shots you asked your relatives to get, if anything?

I am asking my parents, niece, and brother to get it because they will be watching my daughters a month after birth while my husband and i go out of state.

Myself, bf, and mother all went together to the clinic after I delivered. It was free.  My mom stayed for the first week, so because of the direct contact.  Sister came the next week...I ad asked her to or to wait off on visiting for a few weeks (esp since she lives in Orlando and works for a church that helps the homeless every weekend) she said she got it, I never really believed her though. That's the only people I asked...ones coming to stay immediately after birth.

I made everyone get the Tdap shot.  If you were going to be within breathing range of my baby between birth and 8 months you got it.  Whopping cough is at an epidemic status in many states.  Adults carry symtoms like a bad cold.  It is a 15 dollar shot.  In my opinion if the person doesn't want to bother they don't need to bother being around my child.

I was just talking to my sister about this yesterday. She got the Tdap, due to the medical classes she's taking but I need to inform my mom about it.

I didn't get any shots, nor did I make any of my relatives or husband get any shots.
