Anyone pregnant after getting a gastric sleeve?

It's been a year since my gastric sleeve and now pregnant. Worried and concerned about baby getting the nutrients it needs and how delivery will be, heard I'd have to get a chance section?

I am 35 weeks, 36 Thursday, I had the gastric sleeve done last year in July and got pregnant not even a year later they have done a lot of blood work throughout the pregnancy to make sure everything is fine at all scans baby is healthy and is growing great!! I have only gained around 8lbs and baby weighted 5lbs at 34 weeks!! congratulations!!

Hello I'm 6 years out from my sleeve and I had my daughter in 2014 with no problem she was born healthy a very normal pregnancy and birth

I just read up on this, talk to your health care provider. They should tell you what extra vitimins/ food you should be taking. And I also saw that it said there is a higher risk for a c section, but it doesn't say why. So again speak to your doctor and they should be able to talk theough it all x
