Joamb, i know she has tried some meds, but i don't know exactly what. I will mention that to her too. She is def doing the gluten free and is picking up the dong quai today. If any of you pray, prayers would be appreciated also.

Yes going gluten free can help your friend. Has she ever been on any medications for fertility? I got pregnant on a drug called metformin maybe she could try that it lowers androgen hormones and helps the body with insulin resistance. Maybe she could ask her doctor

Eldawson82 I took a natural herb called Don qua it's sold in liquid or pills and it helps regulate the female organs and after taking that a few months I got pregnant it's very inexpensive the bottle was around 15 dollars at a health food store it's worth a try also Google natural remedies for woman with pcos you would be amazed how many great things you'll find I wish her luck it's very difficult to want a child and have everyone else that you love get pregnant and you can't both my cousin and sister where pregnant before me and I was happy for them but disappointed in myself but thank god it all worked out so tell her to stay positive

Ladies, i have a very dear friend who has pcos and is unable to get pregnant. She really wants to have a baby. She heard that going gluten free can help, which i am now helping her with. Is there any advice you guys have? She can't afford ivf. She is really motivated right now because i am pregnant and another of our friends might be. I would also appreciate any advice on how to keep her included without hurting her feelings as much as possible.

Hey im 25 was diagnosed at 17.
Told id probably have problems getting pregnant. Spoke to my partner who said hed support me with treatment ivf etc. After 9months of unprotected sex I am npw 7 weeks pregnant :) I just thought after so many months the docs were right and I'd need help.
Im worried about increased chance of miscarriage but at the moment focusing on the positive as much as I can. Ive naturally conceived and im close to 8 weeks :)

I have pcos and had to have ivf to get pregnant. Almost 9 weeks with a healthy baby heart rate 172 yesterday. So excited but nervous. I have been on hormone therapy since before my transfer. I will stop all hormones at 10 weeks and it makes me very nervous. Praying my body and placenta will support the pregnancy. Positive thoughts and prayers ur way sweetie!!

Diagnosed with pcos when had trouble conceiving #2 (bubba one was a suprise baby) first 14 weeks or so were nerve racking as there is the higher risk of miscarriage. Partner finally convinced me what will be, will be & all we can do is be postive & surround ourselfves with positive.. we are now 31 weeks into our pregnancy with a healthy little boy.

Pcos is policy cystic ovarian syndrome for those wondering and is a hormone disorder and most of the women suffering with this have infertility or difficulty falling pregnant and suffer with higher rates of miscarriages. It has many symptoms as well. I have PCOS and I am FTM also. It took my husband and I 2.5 years to conceive and women feel so blessed to have made it to week 32! How is your pregnancy going? Are you concerned about anything? Feel free to ask any questions any time.
