They're callednvericose veins, or spider veins. Its a common side effect of your uterus putting pressure on the large veign that returns blood from your legs to your heart, as well as the increased blood volume in your body. They can be unsightly & uncomfortable, but aren't usually dangerous and if are directly caused by pregnancy, they usually get better or go away once you have the baby.
